What's inside

Simple tools, nothing you have to learn

Six things Stay Near does well — and no clutter around them.

Real-time location

See where your people are right now, on a live map that updates as they move.

Arrival & departure alerts

Pick a place, get a notification when someone arrives there or leaves. No more “text me when you land”.

Location history

Look back at your own route for the day, and at the history people have chosen to share with you.

Saved places

Home, school, the office, grandma's. Save the spots that matter and build alerts around them.

Groups & invite codes

Create a circle for family and another for friends. Invite people with a short code — no address book upload.

You stay in control

Location sharing is always permission-based. Turn it off for a person, a group, or entirely — whenever you want.

A look inside

Made to be readable at a glance

A dark map that doesn't burn your eyes, faces instead of dots, and the answer to “where are they?” in the first second.

Three steps

Set it up in about a minute

Install and allow location

Download from the App Store and give the app permission to use your location. Nothing is shared until you say so.

Invite your people

Create a group, share the short invite code, and everyone who joins appears on the same map.

Save places, get alerts

Mark home, school or the office — then let the app tell you about arrivals and departures automatically.

Subscription

Cancel your Stay Near subscription

This is for the subscription you bought here, on the Stay Near website. Leave the email you subscribed with — we cancel it and write back to confirm. No account, no password, no card details.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Billing continues until the cancellation goes through.
Send the request before your renewal date — a payment already taken is a refund, not a cancellation.
We never ask for a password or card details. This form takes your email and nothing else.
FAQ

Questions people actually ask

What happens after I send the request?

We find the subscription by the email you entered, cancel the renewal and write back to that same address to confirm. If we can't find it, we'll write back too — with a question, not with silence.

Do I lose access right away?

No. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and simply does not renew after that.

I entered the wrong email — what now?

Send the form again with the right one. Extra requests don't break anything: we cancel the subscription once, and a request that matches nothing is just closed.

I already paid for the next period — can I get the money back?

That's a refund, not a cancellation, and it's a separate conversation. Send the form anyway to stop future charges, and write the reason in the field — we'll come back to you about the payment itself.

I subscribed inside the iPhone app, not here

Then the payment goes through Apple, and only you can cancel it: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Stay Near → Cancel Subscription, or use apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Apple does not let us do it on your behalf. This form won't help with that purchase.

Is the app usable without a subscription?

Yes. Stay Near is free to download, and the core map and sharing are there from the start. Premium unlocks the paid extras.

How do I stop sharing my location but keep the app?

Turn sharing off for a person or a group inside the app, or revoke the permission entirely in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Stay Near. Sharing is always permission-based.
